I need to buy a T5 light fixture so i can keep more corals.
Can anyone lead me in an affordable yet good route.
I have a 50 gallon high tank and it is 20 inches deep.

go with a t-5 fixture 4ft 4 to 8 bulbs then if you go bigger you have a light for your future bigger tank spend the money once not twice

I believe you'll have to go at least 36" in order to have a T-5 fixture. That would be a 3" overhang on each side. That's an odd sized tank.

Check out the following links. I have had mine (72") for about 4 months now with no complaints. These are not best lights money can buy. However, I think pound for pound it is the best fighter. It has built in timers, cooling fans and lunar lights. It can mount on top of tank or hang above, (HW included).
