I wanted to see if anyone is dosing supplements in their nano. I have mostly soft corals at this time with one bubble coral and wanted to see if anyone had some success with any supplements. My calcium hovers around 400-420 ppm with my salt mix and I do a 30% water change every two weeks. I am thinking about usinf some type of two part sup. Cal/ Buff. Any suggestions?

With that little of a tank I cannot see having to do so. Even in a tank filled with SPS weekly 30% water changes with Reef Crystals would be sufficient. Now, if you don't want to actually have to do weekly or biweekly water changes then I could see having to put calcium, buffers and trace elements back into the system. With mainly soft corals you may get more mileage from running carbon from time to time if you plan on also keeping LPS in there since soft corals may be toxic; combine that with a nano environment... Well, I would just do biweekly water changes and not worry too much about supplements. Less is usually more in this hobby :)

in that small of a tank i would suggest you switch over to perhaps tropic marin salt and just do your weekly water changes
