I am observing micro algae boom 1 week after I replaced many liverocks due to pest soft corals polyps infestation. There is also big increase in NO3/PO4, now NO3 = 15 and PO4 = 0.1 (probably from the liverocks.) Previously NO3 is undetectable and PO4 is around 0.03.

I am using a Sufur reactor and RowaPhos to counter the problem and both NO3 and PO4 is coming down compare to last week.

Should I cut my light hours also and stop my calcium reactor (which produces CO2?)

I could cut down on the light and do weekly water changes along with what you're doing now. Cutting the light period won't address the main problem (rising nutrients); only dilution will do that.
