This will be my return to salt water tanks after 5 years of nothing but a koi pond. I was digging around in my garage and found my old mini-bow 7 and decided that that would be good enough to start with

I stopped by the local store and bought two bulk heads one 3/4" for the return and a 1" for the over flow. And I started today on drilling my tank with the old dremel tool. After it burned up i started to use a $10 dremel tool from harbor freight and it worked better then the $70 tool. cheepo wantabe dremel tool (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=94076)

I also had a current 40w light fixture laying around so i took it apart and cut it down to fit.

Here is a pic of my last nano, was one of those JBL cube things that broke so i hope this one works out better

This week I guess it will be time to start working on my stand. As of right now i'm not sure what size sump i will be having. I want it to be large enough for a refug and the skimmer. I do know i will be using a mag 5 for the return pump.
