I have a 75g with 2 #4's Koralias and a mag7 return. It seems like my chromis struggle to swim with all the current in the tank. Does it just seem that way or could there be too much flow? I figure they must plenty of flow in the ocean, so they could handle my tank. But they just don't look that good anymore.

Way more in the wild... but, depending on the rocks, no shelter from it. They are, if I recall, and reef fish, so they would school close to the rocks and caves. If they stay in the tank, then I don't think there is too much flow... but they need a place to go. (almost poetic)

They are a reef/rock fish, they will stay close to or in rock formations or coral formations. Just make sure they have hiding spots or enough rock to deflect some of the water.

I have way more flow than that in my tank and the chromis are fine with it. They like to swim into the flow and hang around rockwork and coral as mentioned above.

Did you recently add any of the mentioned pumps? If so, they may be getting adjusted to the new flow. When I first added a K2 to my tank, some of my fish had a little trouble with it. Now, you couldn't tell.

My tank is 10gs smaller, but I have like a 1000gph more flow then yours and my fish swim around fine.

They are just being fish.
