right now i have a 29gal biocube with the normal CF lighting. It reaches a top of 79 degrees with one cooling fan during the whole year. I want to get the 20" 150watt sunpod but would it shoot my temp up to much? I have room for 2 more cooling fans that i can add.

They absolutely do get hot, but I think you will be fine with two fans. I had one on my 10 gallon with a 5.5 sump. I did use a chiller, but that is only because I bought it when I had a 250 watt halide. Without the chiller it could get 29*C on a hot day. But that was also with much less water and without any extra fans on top, and in a hot dorm room. It will raise your temp a bit, but with the fans, it shouldn't be too much.

The sunpod has a fan in it for the lights. It does put off some good heat though. Fans work if you don't mind evap and topping off more frequently. I added a small chiller and mine stays at 79-80 consistantly.
