Upon entering the room yesterday where my tank is I could smell smoke. I noticed that the plug of my Nova T5 pro was burned at the power strip. I assumed the power strip went bad and replaced it. Unfortunatley I am now getting stray electricity. I get shocked if I touch the new power strip but only when the Nova is plugged in. What kind of internal damage to my fixture could cause this? I sure don't want to burn the house down. Also - Why doesn't my circuit breaker trip?
