Are 250's too much?

I am setting up a frag tank 36x24x8 inches. I have a NIB Current 2x250 watt Sunpod with 14k's I was thing of using.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I do not think so personally, just raise the light up and run higher K bulbs.
