I have the AC JR and I am calibrating the PH probe using the instruction manual. For the low level it tells me to just wait until the numbers stop changes, not to worry about what the number is.

For the high solution it is not clear to me if I wait until the numbers stop moving and

A- the value does not matter
B- the value should read the high solution number, 7.0 in my case.

of course I ask cuz my high number does not read 7.0 but has stopped moving.

thanks

Answer A... wait until the reading settles.

If your high cal buffer is 7.0, that implies that your low is a 4.0 solution. If you are using this on a saltwater system, you really should be using 7.0 & 10.0 cal buffers. Or is this in use on a freshwater system?

These are the buffers that came along with the probe but I did read what you are saying.

Does it make a difference??
