Are there plans to make the PC4 with all 4 of the same relays (making ch. 2 & 3 like ch. 1 & 4)? Seems many low power things don't work on 2 & 3, takes away some of the possibilities of the RKL.

I have the same problem with most of the stuff I want/need to control not shutting off. Dropping $90 on another PC4 for 2 more outlets is not an option.
One with all 4 relayed outlets would be awsome especialy for us nano reefers.

To clarify, it's not low power devices, it's poor power factor devices, mainly small pumps. The 3 amp limit on the 2 and 3 can run up to a 250W MH, 300W heater, larger return pumps or wavemakers. So it's not as limiting as it sounds. BTW, smaller heaters and lighting works fine also on 2 and 3! But there are no plans to release a different version of the PC4 at this time.
Hope that helps.

I don't knwo much about them yet and just recently started setting everything up, but I'm having the same problem with Ch 2 on one of my 3 PC4's. The RKE will turn the device "off", however it takes a while before the lights actually shut down. I have lights plugged in CH 1-3 on one PC4 and on CH 1-2 on another PC4.

It's probable the power factor issue. You will need to move your devices around and try to get that item to channel 1 or 4. If what you have a channel 1 or 4 now is under 360 watts you can run it on channels 2 or 3.

Is there an advantage of the ch. 2 & 3 style relays over the ch. 1 & 4 relays?

Yes, several. They help keep cost down and they don't make noise when switching. It's a good mix of switching options.
