Rods Reef FTW!!!! Combined with plety of nori and you cant lose. The biggest thing though is diversity.....fish like humans need vitamins, protein, fat, calories, and all of that healthy crap that comes from multiple food sources.

I voted for Rods... Love it...BUT...need to feed more than one food for a truely heathy diet.

I used to use Rod's but now my LFS is trying this new product. Its called Black Jack's Reef Crack. Its similiar to the Rod's mix, except there is no fillers and its made and packaged by a long time customer of his. Ive started to see it in different LFS's around the city. My fish love it and im getting great extensions from my corals during feeding time.

I voted for Rods since its similiar.

Does rods food need to be thawed out? Or is it low in phosphates?

Mine, too.

Freakin' Vegans!

I like Rod's, but also use a homemade batch I buy from a local reefer...theirs includes garlic supplement, nori, eucalyptus, as well as shrimp, clams, and all the carnivorous goodies...

Of the 4, Rod's. I feed rods, reef chili, and New life Spectrum pellets at different intervals. Rod's is by far a more complete 'reef' food (fish, corals, inverts etc.) If I want to take care of the fish only, I use the pellets. For just the corals, Reef Chili. Would highly recommend any of the above or a Rod's home brew equivalent. Some people go waaayyy overboard, but I do think it is best to have some variety to fill certain niche feeders. It also really depends on your Fish/Coral/Invert ratio and what kinds of fish.

of all the things i feed my, fish i think the frozen fish guts is the most nutricious and the fishes fav as well, it inclides liver stomach roe sacks muscel tissue and bones, basicly when a friend or coworker come back with some salt water fish, i get them to leave me a carcass or two after they cut off their filets

My opinion is that diversity is a good thing, so I use different foods and brands.
Nori, frozen brine/mysis, O.S.I. Spirulina Flakes, Cyclopeeze, New Life Spectrum Pellets etc.
