I have 4 t-5's on an ice cap 660. I want to use the ice cap to drive 2 60" t-12's and as many t-5s as I can. Looking for a diagram to show me how to make this happen. As always any and all help is welcome!

I dont think its good for the ballast to do so. I'd ask over in the Icecap forum though, or contact them directly. Hopefully I'm wrong and you can do what you want:) Please let us know what you find.

The IC660 supports up to 4 bulbs or 440 watts total (by bulb rating)

(2) 110w 60" VHO + (2) 80w 60" T5HO = 380w, so no problem there. You'd be limited by the ability to wire the bulbs, not by wattage, therefore 2 VHO and 2 T5HO of any length/wattage is the max. But I agree w/ H2OENG... my understanding is that one cannot mix bulb types like that, but I can't substantiate that.... ask IceCap.

And with T5s the IC660 is de-rated. You can only run 3-54WT5s rather than 4, even though the total wattage is less than max. At least on the old IC660s. Interested to hear back..
