little tiny filter feeders like tiny tiny coco worms, no harm, if there a bother you can just scrape them off with something like a razor blade

but in between the two rocks that looks like a problem critter, looks to me like a lil aptasia, they spread really fast. oh and u have so many of them cause u have promenet calcium and nutriens for them to survive and thrive

It's hard to tell with the shallow depth of field, but they do look like vermetid snails.

+1 definitly Verimtid snails. 100% positive. They don't move and have a long calified tube that they extend a mucus film from like a web to collect food.

Vermitid Snails for sureee! I have a butt load of them that look like that and after numerous searches and id sites...it's vermitid snails and they are harmless. They can irritate corals but not harm them at all. :)

I also have the vermitid snails. I will say thats definitely what you have there and they dont harm anything. I heard they will dieoff when the water quality is higher.

Well they will die off in the open spaces and live more in the crannies between rocks.

Plus the kind of fan worms you find on rocks are not coco worms anyways.

ok cool thanks.
I have 5 wrasses total in the tank already female menlarusi, yellow, radiant, tri color (maybe) and another misc , nobodys touching them. Would a copper band be interested in such a thing?

The orange things are formiferans. They are hard sharp growths, something like coraline algae. Not a problem, unless you poke one thru your finger, Ouch! Don't bother to deal with them, they'll be OK.

I thought these were forams also but its hard to tell from the pic; some look more tube like; Forams usually only grow in a healthy tank, so they arre a good sign..

Can you get a better pic? like a close up? of 1 or2?

i would say get urself a 6 line wrasse/watermelon wrasse. a 6 line is good for flatworms so i think this would do the trick for those orange guys.

I still say they are formiferans. Hard lil growths. Sign of a healthy tank. Pick at one with your fingernail. If it's hard, that's what it is. They don't bother anything. Interesting lil growths. Adds dimension to your tank. Enjoy!

Vermitid snails are also hard. And have a coil at the base like the pictures look like they have.
