powersweep wont turn on!!!!!!!!!!!

my powersweep 228 wont turn on, i cleaned it and when i went to plug it back in it didnt turn on, i tried other plugs and ut didnt work. the best i got was a half a second sputter on one. please help!!!!

Pull the impellar out of the pump and soak it and the hole in the pump where the impellar goes, in vinegar. probably have calcium build up on one or both. I would soak it overnight, rinse it in fresh water and retry it.
