I'm confused how the top offs work with the controllers? Do they come with their own top off unit?

My RKE drives my RO/DI unti directly. A float monitors the sump level and triggers an alarm when at the correct level. The RKE will turn-on the RO/DI evey 6hrs and run it for 10min or until the float rises to the correct level. This approach prevents the possibility of a runaway top-off.
