is it ok to have a finger leather in a tank with sps

It's often done, including in some TOTM's. Just make sure the leather won't touch any of the SPS as it grows. Running carbon and keeping it changed every couple of weeks will help minimize chemical warfare between the corals.

ya zoas and shrooms are fine but with leathers and sps i would highly recomend like stated above run carbon

A torch is ok with most everything as long as you give it room, Leathers can be kept with sps. I do it. However, they can be toxic. I run carbon but carbon may not be very effective against the allelopathic metabolites put out by leathers since they are rather long complex organic chains with potentially little affinity for absorbtion by carbon. So , yes you can do it. Yes, run granulated activated carbon. Yes. you are taking a risk.
