OK I just saw a thread that had sinularia sp. as a colt coral. I thought I had colts in my tank but now I know it's not sinularia sp.

These things grow and split like crazy, just a year ago I only had 2 and now have 2 dozen. The drop off a branch that attaches to another rock. What is this? Scientific Name please.

Hello,

well its a Capnella imbricata (Kenya-tree), the drop off of baby branches is typical for them.

Same exact thing happened to us at the LFS, Our Kenya tree was sold to us as a colt. Same feathery ends, but ours is a bit more purple. Ours hasn't started propogating yet. It is low and over towards one edge of the tank, I wonder if it needs more light?
