Hello all--quick question:
I'm setting up my 90g with the Corner-flo kit that came with the tank and one line on the instruction sheet is confusing to me. It says "except where threaded fittings are used, connections for Return and Overflow to the sump should be cemented to ensure water integrity."

Does that mean I only need to use cement and teflon tape underneath the tank, and the plumbing inside the overflow are ok without the cement/tape (slip fit)?

thanks in advance....

Definitely slip fit your overflow and return into the bulkheads inside your overflow box. I have a flex tubing slip fitted into the overflow (underneath) and running into the filter sock of my sump. A very short piece of pvc and a threaded connector are cemented to the underside of the return bulkhead.

Ok, that makes sense, I just wanted to run it up the flag pole. I'll cement on the bottom and only slip fit inside the box.
Thx!
