rkl light settings?

I am setting up my rkl that I just received and my lighting timer does not seem to be working(My fault i'm sure). When I overide the timer and turn it on it comes on but when using the timer it does not seem to be working. What am I doing wrong? It should be set to auto correct?

There are a few things to ckeck>

1) did you set date and time?
2) Are you in a night mode and have the socket set to off for night?
3) if the light is MH, then there is a 15 min delay on the turn on for safety of the MH light. If this is the case then have you waited for the sure on 15 minute window to complete?
