hey all, i have a 25g reef that has been running for about 1.5 years now, without problems and doing quite well. However, a recent outburst of, what I and my LFS have come to call, Clavularia, has taken over about 1/3 of my liverock. It lies low the rock, is purple in color, opens and retracts withe the daylight/nighttime sequence (almost cant be seen at night), and covers in a mat-like form. It hasn't killed anything, other than my awesome Vietnam zoanthids, haha...is there any method of removing this stuff from the live rock? Ive tried Joes Juice and that has seemed to work, but it really takes a lot of the stuff to cover the entire patch, and Im afraid I could harm the rest of the tank. Any ideas would help greatly, thanks

Does it actually have polyps? Clavularia is clove polyps. Do you have a picture.
