I bought two 60 gallon white plastic cans from my local feed store (farming supplies). They were used for vinegar before, but I cleaned them out really well, and let them sit for a week airing out. Cost me $14 each. Works perfectly.

Brute or Rubbermaid cans. Make sure the bottom of the container has the NSF (food grade) lable on it.

+1 pm the tractor supply store you can get 50-60-100-120 and on up storage tanks that will fit your needs and are made to hold potable water. They are not cheap though.

I have the same RO/DI unit, mine is hooked up to a tank bladder and a faucet. This way I easily can get drinking water or top-off water from my faucet. When I do a water change I connect the unit to a large plastic container with float valve to fill it and then shut the unit off.

I just ordered this 50 gallon container, it's low profile and fits perfectly where I need it to go:

also comes with 1" drain fitting

5 gallon home depot buckets. These things seal tight so that the water stays free from any particles getting in.

I personally don't like storing water over prolonged period to avoid TDS creep.

I think for a 75 gallon any container larger than 20 gallons might be overkill. You might be storing more water than you might need and storing it for long periods.

I don't keep too much ro/di on me at any given time so I keep them in a few old empty milk jugs.
