Out of the 3 diff sizes of rox .8, which one works best in a tlf reactor. Also how is the Phosban from brs? I was going to order a supply from there it seems much cheaper than the lfs.

The small bag lasts me about 6 months. I use a cup at a time in my reactor. The phosban from them is great, I have used it for over a year. If you have not already purchased the tlf reactor get their reacter, you can run carbon an phosban in it at the same time, just view the video on the website. They also have a deal right now where you get a free bag of carbon with the purchase of their deluxe reactor.

+1 on the BRS reactor. It is built much better than the TLF media reactors.

If you are using the tlf reactor go with the largest size. The sponges on the tlf reactors are to porius for the finer grain sizes, they will shoot right through into your sump and display.

I was thinking of purchasing new sponges that will be less porius.

That is a good idea, that was the only problem I had with the tlf reactors.
