I've been researching this debated topic and was wondering. Most popular seems to be vodka, which is basically water and ethanol. Question is could you dose just straight ethanol? I live in central Illinios a large corn prducing area and as such we have alot of ethanol plnt's that I work in from time to time. And could procure the "good stuff" as it were.

Sure you can use more concentrated ethanol. I would still dilute it with water to make dosing is easier and safer.

Vodka can (or should) contain impurities so your source of ethanol might even be the better one

Would be a good idea if you can get it cheap. I would however make sure it does not contain denaturing agents.

Interesting, thank you for the responses. I'll have to ask about the denaturing agents good call.
