I'm considering the purchase of a new reef tank. To save on lighting and space, and to take advantage of the aquascaping possibilities offered by a "deep" tank, I'm thinking of the configuration pictured below.

Since I already have them, my question today concerns the feasibility of using two LumenBright reflectors (fitted with 250w Phoenix DE MH lamps) to light the reef. Given that I will have a couple of inches clearance from the front and back of the tank, will the LumenBrights offer enough "spread" to illuminate the tank sufficiently?

I ask the forum ... you are the experts. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

what will the height be of the tank? if its not over 24 inches tall you should be fine.

2 lumenarc elites would be great over that tank.I run a single elite over a 32"x32" tank and get awesome coverage and high par numbers.

The tank would be 24" tall. I guess I'm just a little but unsure of the "spread" from the LumenBrights over 30" front to back.
