This is the superman Monti... I had it high in the tank but the blue went away... lowered it and it is starting to look better.

I am using a Canon 40d with a 100mm portrait lens. Thank you for the compliment. It took me a little while to get used to shooting corals and I am still having some issues with certain pieces because of the curved glass but I think they turned out pretty good.

Nice!

Hey DSR, what kind of nem is that? I hope the natural color is white because it might have lost its color. Sometimes it takes time for them to get their color back. Anyway good luck. :)

Thanks Cherubfish, it is a condy and it is supposed to be that color as near as I can tell. The tips are purple like my previous condy. It is a very healthy nem from what I have observed; in that pic it had just eaten a cube of blood worms and was pretty happy with itself Right now it is full as all get out, lol. But thanks for the info.

Where are you in Montana. Went fly fishing up there a year ago near the Beaverhead. It is amazing out there.

What bulb are you using in your sunpod? I have a 20k XM bulb, and I'm not very happy with the color. It's not as blue as I would like.

In Libby, extreme Northwest corner. 60 miles from Canada and 30 miles from Idaho.

Went fishing myself with my son and friends on Friday. My son and I caught one fish each. My friend and his son caught 7 between the two. Our fish were much bigger so I guess that evened it out. All of them were rainbows.

DSR your tank is awesome looking!! Love it! I love the lastest pic of the FTS and that nem is sweet! It is definitely a nice addition in your tank :) You seemed to have filled it up pretty quickly and very nicely done! Gimme that purple echinata!! ;) hahaha!

It looks like the Condi is taking up a decent amount of your tank.

I personally think 'nems are best for much bigger tanks.

You know what would look sweet in it's place - some more Acans and Chalice! :)

You know iFisch I couldn't agree with you more. The nem was purchased right after my three year old used all of her birthday money to buy the mated pair of clowns. They were "hosting" my duncans and I didn't like that... enter the nem. It was very small when it was purchased and must really like my tank as it is pretty big now and has never moved from that spot. Hate to think of getting rid of it, but it is taking up some prime spot on the rocks.

Reeferchick, are you talking about the little purple acan with the green mouths or the one to the right of the clam (sorry, I know I should know that). if it is the one on the right of the clam as soon as it get bigger enough to frag I will get ya some of it. Right now it is just a one big mouth with about five smaller ones. Kinda weird the way it grew.

Not sure if you can tell on the orange crush but it has a new head growing out of the back. It is really pretty cool. When it was fragged the fella cut it a bit close on the back end. You could actually see light through it and i was convinced it wouldn't make it. However, instead of causing problems it just grew a new head back there. As fast as the orange crush is growing, I think it will be a nice sized ball-o-crush in the not so distant future.

Looks really nice!! I LOVE that crocea. ;) The clowns will likely never use that anemone as a host as condies don't host in the wild.

Thanks sugar... The clams in the pictures are actually a derasa and a maxima...just for clarification. They are both still nano sized, but seem to be doing well.

Going back through the pictures I wish I had included a better picture of the monti cap. When I first got it there as a small purple rim. Now the purple is very bright and is quite a bit larger. Really cool looking. You can kinda see it in the FTS, but not all that great.

yes the one to the right of the clam ;) I like that one a lot. It's a beautiful purple. If you like anything in my tank lemme know :) Your orange crush is gonna be big soon!! Very cool!

I will +1 iFisch. I had a lot of people telling me not to keep a nem in a nano. I didn't listen at first becaue it was healthy they are my fav. I got rid of one that out grew my tank, and got a smaller one to replace it. Again it did good. Then it split. They took over the back of my tank. I just got rid of them, and they look great in my boyfriends 240g. Needless to say, I was sad to see them go, but I am happy with my new aquascape. In a nano my size space is limited, so I'm happy with the decision I made. Here are the b4 and after pics...
