Looks amazing!

since I am building a similiar sized stand soon... a few questions.

are those 2x6s on the vertical supports and 2x8s on the horz beams?

also, are those shims under the front of the stand?

You are right on the 2x6's and 2x8's I put 1x4's under the stand to raise it off the carpet to get some air flow under it & it made it easier to slide into place!!

Love the finished picture you are going for!

ON my stand, which will be started in the next month...

150 gallon 5x2x2 glass tank

I am planning on 4x4 posts at the corners, 2x4s at center, and 2x8's for the cross bracing,... so very similar to yours..

the one catch is that I will be on not quite level concrete in the basement.. I have to decide if I will shim it with wood, or if I will build up the floor with thinset or a layer of concrete... decisions...
