I had a question about how my Linkia Starfish may be doing.

It is an orange Linkia, and I have had him since November of 08, so about 9 months, He is in a 90g with plenty of live rock.

I was guessing/hoping that he has found plenty to eat and survive as he has lived for about 9 months. (I thought they only lived about 6 if they were starving.

However my question is How quickly should he be growing?? I have had him all this time and I dont think he is ANY bigger than when I put him in there, is this normal?? He doesnt look any bigger/thicker, or anything. He moves around plenty.

Just wondering what anyone thinks, and would love to get someones knowledgable opinion.

Thanks!
Jesse

9 months is still too early to tell if it is finding enough food. They can last for about 18 before finally kicking the bucket, though 12 is more common.

Unless they are regrowing a leg their growth will be almost unnoticeably slow.
