I know the picture is horrible quality, but my six line has some white, stringly mucus on his body. I've done a little research and read that six lines produce a slime coat when they sleep and sometimes it just stays with them for a bit. Any thoughts? Is this some sort of disease?

Update. My Six Line seems to be doing fine today. I guess its just one of those things, when the fish is settling into its new home.

Update. Still seems to be acting normal, but I would like to hear from anyone that may have seen this before? I can't get a good picture, but it looks like the Wrasse is shedding his skin. Any thoughts?

It's just mucus cocoon remnants

No, he had a slow decline last night and this morning he is still alive but resting right on the substrate. I have a feeling he'll be dead when I get home from work today. I am going to diagnose the disease as brooklynella.
