I Need a unit that controls two sets of lights. I also need it to turn I set of fans on when it gets to hot and a heater on when it gets to cool... will the 99.00 dollar unit do those things with out any additional things to buy?

What would I have to do for a ATO?

I want to dump my timers and ranco dual stage to clean stuff up a little, love the ranco controller though.

The $99 RKL 1 should do the first line of items fine. You get four outlets... 1 for each light, one for heaters and one for a fan. For the ATO, you would need an SL1 unit to monitor one or more float switches. You may then also need an additional PC4 for your ATO pump since you would have maxed out your first PC4 outlets.

I have my new RKL doing these things now except substitute pumps for lights. I am waiting on the SL2 to implement my ATO rather than go with the SL1 since Salinity is more useful for me than ORP in the immediate future.
