What Size Tank for a Breeding Pair?

What would be a good size tank for a pair of Maroons for breeding?

Currently I've got a 65g SPS frag tank set up, but there is too much flow for the clowns to be happy in. So I'm thinking of something like a 40g breeder for a single pair and a BTA and no other fish. Too big or small? I'd like to hear what others are using instead of a main display tank.

40 breeder is a perfect size IMO for Maroons. I've had that species (both white and gold striped) spawn in tanks as small as 20 gallons, but they never seemed as relaxed or happy as when they were in a 40.
