Hi,
Which SPS would you recommend for very high intermittant flow?
to try to describe it it will be directly in front of 1 Vortech MP40 at full power short pulse mode and also getting direct flow from 2 outlets of a OM squirt with a 1000G/h pump?

How close is it to the vortec? You make it sound like there's too much water movement in this area. I suggest a tabling type of coral for the high flow areas, but I would not suggest you place these types of corals where you want to grow others below; because as they grow they shade everything below them.

Vortech will be around 1.5 foot away but nothing in between it and the coral. No problem with shading as it will be on a flat rock so nothing under it.

1.5 foot away is not close.....I've got corals 9" away from my MP40's and they love it. 100% Reefcrest. Blue Voodoo stag on one end about 9" away and Pink Mili on the other end about 10" away. Both have excellent polyp extension.

Thanks,
Weirdly my vortech did peel the skin off parts of a Blue ORA oregon tort but it was on reefcrest mode then and at about 2 feet...

Blue staghorn. These guys grows like crazy when you give them good currents and light.
