Well I have been away from Fishkeeping for a couple of years, after moving away to Dubai, and have just bought my new nano. :D

Its an aqua one cube 16 inches long holding 16 Gallons or 65L, and its sweet!

I have built a cabinet and drilled myself. Its a ghetton install but all "custom"

The problem I am having is the pipe I have as a drain and return is 32mm (1.25 inch) and I have no idea how to attach this to my return pump.

I have not bought the pump yet which makes it easier to figure out what I am gonna do. I think, correct me if I am wrong!, I will need a flow of about 600gph = 10X per hour. So I think need a 600gph (eheim compact 600?) and some sort of adapter to fit it to the return pipework???

Any ideas all you budding plumbers?

There are adapters, which can be found at most hardware stores (lowes or home depot here in the states, not sure for you). The problem is, they likely go 1.25" to 1". Then you'd have to go 1' to .75", and then .75" to .50" to attach it to your eheim pump. I don't think there's a 1.25" to .50" adapter.

Do the return line(s) run up and over the back? If so, I would replump it with 1/2" ID PVC.

No the pipes are inside the stand. Suppose I could use tha adapters in series off the bulkhead. The problem was the bulkhead being 1.5in

Not seen any adapters that were not metal!

This might help a bit.

It's an aqua one 12 inch cube plumbed to a sump.

Thanks dude. So Will 1000 gph be enough flow?

Also any ideas if i could run this within my weir? Its to stop bubbles in the sump? As the water level is always under the surface??? With the safety of an overflow?

Do you have Krylon products where you are at? Krylon makes a spray paint that many use here States side specifically for plastic.
