help me decide on return pump atb or red dragon

Need a return pump for my 250 marineland deep dimension tank, i bought a atb 1500 but im afraid it wont be enuf to return. Want either an atb return or a red dragon pump but having a hard time deciding on which one and which model/size.

check into the fx 1500 from marine solutions if you are looking at the red dragon....same basic concept from what I can see....only alot cheaper.

Design your plumbing first, determine your desired flow rate and TDH, plot those points on the pump curves of those you are interested in.

The pump whos curve is closest to your duty points, and roughly in the center of the curve is the correct pump.
