I am in the process of getting my 55 gallon tank up and running. I have a Reef Octopus DNW 110 which needs water pushed through it via a pump or overflow. I have an overflow box draining into my sump and am wondering how much flow I should have running through this skimmer? I could drain all my water straight from the overflow box which will be less than 250 gph or I could plumb it to be less than that but then would I have a problem with noise?
