Wanted to say thanks to Richard over at Tampa Bay Saltwater. The 35lbs of liverock I got from him was awesome super fresh packed in water and full of life. With that said, if anyone here is looking to buy liverock. Look no further, Richard is the man to contact..

way to go. new TBS club membership requires you post tons of pics of the tank as soon as you can.

absolutely agree. i just ordered the package today too, and it was incredible. could not believe how much free stuff richard packed in there for me. i was taking pictures of all the critters and corals he threw in, and somehow forgot to take pictures of the rock itself. it was amazing though. pictures really don't do it justice. there's something so amazing about just seeing all those barnacles and feather dusters and sponges come to life. really great!

Thanks guys for the kind words! Makes me wanna go dive tomorrow...

Did you glue that coral back to it's base? Bummer that it broke off. That is an almost four year old colony, as it has grown since the red tide we had here four years ago. Neat coral, has green florescent looking mouths...you can super glue it back to it's base on the rock.

I put out another load of rock today, was a bit bumpy out there today...

How much was the freight Tampa-Monterey?

I just placed my order also. It is due to arrive in Roanoke Monday. Your pictures are driving me crazy, having to wait.

Richard has been great, working hard trying to find an affordable air carrier into our small airport

Hey Richard yeah I used some red epoxy putty and mounted that coral piece onto your liverock. Its doing real good under the metal halide. With that said the freight was $85 bucks for both boxes. Not bad..

That was a good deal for freight....as your airport is one of those that do not offer regular freight service, but is called Premier Freight. Is a guaranteed service. Cost a bit more than normal, but if they fail to make the flights it was booked for, you get your money back for freight!

I guess that kind of spurs them on to make the flights!
