I am looking at purchasing a Canon XS 10.1 MP for $529 NIB.
I am trying out a friends D30 at the moment. What are your opinions on the XS and the price. Also do they make an underwater housing for the XS that a normal working class person can afford. I am trying to stay with Canon because I already own a lens (quanta Ray) but if you know of a better housing that the lens will fit please let me know.
Also if anyone is selling new or used housings let me know.

Thanks

XS is the only Canon DSLR that I don't recommend. It's perfectly fine to by used for the body.

Check the sticky at the top of this forum.

Beer, What do you mean it's perfeclty fine to be used for the body?

Heres a few shots I took today with it (the D30). I'm in no way a good photographer

Beer, What do you mean it's perfeclty fine to be used for the body? He meant to say "buy used" not "by used".

In other words, buying a used body of something like the Xsi would be recommended rather than buying a brand new XS if you're trying to keep the price low.
