I bought this colony from a LFS a month ago. As soon it got in my tank it got a little brown spot near the edge that has not increased in size or healed since then. Recently it developed this white spot that you can see in the photo. Does anyone know what this is and what I could do to get rid of it?
Thanks,
Mike

they like low light and low flow. What do you have for those two variable? By the way, gorgeous coral.

For lighting I have about 325 watts of power compact (half is 50/50, half is actinic) and I have pretty low flow in my tank since I keep lot of mushrooms in there. The chalice is placed just below center in the tank.

Personally, I would lower it to the bottom on the sand.
