RSM 34g V.S NANO hqi 24g

looking to add another tank for clams and LPS but love the look cubes. red sea max or nano cube hqi? if you own one let my how you like it or dislike it. or maybe something else I may not have heard. my budget 1000$ not stocked. THANKS FOR THE ADVICE

I bought a used JBJ 24NC and I like it. I don't have anything to complain about as of yet. Except its very different from the JBJ 28HQI.

The JBJ 24NC comes with 72W of PC lighting, but you can get the HQI upgrade for about $225 if you wanna keep the AIO cube look. Also, the JBJ NC HQI has a built in refugium and protein skimmer that the 24NC doesn't.

As for the RSM, I don't know much about it.

The RSM is a very nice tank and great for LPS but not for Clams. The T5 they claim, are really PC lights and just wont cut it for anything but low light clams. The JBJ HQI would be my choice for a clam tank. Most people use or wish they had a chiller for the JBJ though.
