I am about to purchase the reef keeper lite level 3. I will have the 2 PC4's, 1 SL1 and I am purchasing the MLC module as well. My question is am I going to be full of modules or can I purchase the SL2 when available for the RKL??? I am very confused about the modules and some input will be hreatly appreciated.

Thanks

RKL can have up to 4 modules on it. So if you add the MLC into it then all 4 are accounted for.

Now, If you can live without ORP, then when the SL2 ships you can swap it out with the SL1, and you get PH, Salinity, and your 2 switches.

now I prolly will get the SL2 when available. My question now is what if I want to add float switches where do they go since I will have a 4 modules filled up???

The floats get plugged into switch inputs of the SL1 or SL2. You'll have everything you need!

That's the route I'm going. I bought the RKL 1 because I want salinity and am not looking for ORP capability. I'm holding out for the SL2 release and then I'll order that and some float switches at the same time. I already have a second PC4 and a pH probe. I know it's not necessarily the most cost effective way of buying but I just don't need an SL1.

In answer to the other question, with 2 PC4s and SL2 and an MLC you have used up all of your possible module configurations. No more addition is possible without the removal of something.
