Hi i am in the process of getting a Acrylic Tank and was wondering what is the best thing to clean it with. As i am in the UK there is little if anything in the UK for cleaning them. What do you folk clean the inside of your Acrylic tanks with so as not to cause scratching. Thanks in advance Eric:)

Magic Eraser. this works great. just get the original and not the one with detergent. There is a thread around here somewhere about everyone's good experience with it. I use it and love it. Hopefully you can get it over there.

we just use the white scrubbers , and have a few different acrylic tanks..be carefull about mag cleaners, they trap sand and can instantly scratch the tank...I'll have to look into the mr. clean thing ...might be less work if they have no chemicals in them.

nope, no chemicals. It also seems to polish out fine scratches over time.

Hello,

Schuran from Germany has a (expensive) magnetic tool to clean acrylic tanks; if it is not too big and you can reach all the corners with your hands you can also easily use any old plastic/credit card.
