I am wondering what will happen to corals that get bleached from too much light. If we leave them at there, will they attempt to adapt to the light overtime or will they die eventually ?

If they are becoming bleached, they will most likely die. Move them down to the bottom of the tank until they come back to life. I had a bright pink echnopora that got bleached until it was almost all white and the tissue became very thin. I moved it into a shaded spot in the bottom of my tank, and now the color is so intense! It's bright pink/purple with blue and green streaks all over it. If you leave it where it's starting to get bleached, it will not survive

You could also cut your photo period back some or use something like a screen or eggcrate to block some of the light.

Would corals bleach from lack of light ?
