Depending on size, I would say $40-50 is reasonable.

Are you selling or buying? $40-60 is the average I see them for. If your selling bulk I would think $20.

Also depends on the intensity of the color. 10 years ago, really nice RBTAs were selling for $200 - $300. Then, everybody discovered that they grow and split like mad in the right conditions, and suddenly supply was through the roof, so prices fell.

Today, the above prices are probably right for smaller, average-colored specimens.

Im buying. Where do you find them for that price ($40-$60)? Everywhere I've checked online has them from $75 - $175+shipping. Even local reefers are selling them for atleast $100.

Really depends on your location.
Here in South Florida they sell for about $50-60 at the LFS and just under that from local reefers.
Here is the last RBTA FS thread for $45 two days ago from over in the local clubs forum: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1673709

Maybe you should keep an eye on the local club forums and ask someone in an area where they're cheap to ship you one.

It would help to put a location in your description. However, most reef clubs have people that keep them and they split often so you should be able to find one at a reasonable price. Most reef clubs have a separate forum.

usually everything is more expensive online but I live in an area in 20 minutes I can get to 8 marine aquarium stores in 40 minutes I can get to about 20 and a good RBTA is about 35-40 dollars. Everthing is alot more expensive online even if shipping is free.

Keep an eye on Dr Fosters and Smith. They have them starting for $30. They come and go so you have to keep checking back. Of course you have to add shipping with it.

In Southern California , RBTA goes from $35 to $50 from local reefers, depending on size.

On main web site go to Discussion Forum, then on next page scroll down to Reef Club Forum link, then go to your location & find locals that are selling split RBTA's from their tanks. If you buy from local reefer can avoid the high shipping.
