i bought a canon rebel xsi 12.2 mp last night at target on clearence. price: 449.99. now i just have to learn how to use it properly, any good threads for someone first learning to use a dslr?

was that as good of a deal as i think?

Was that body only or with the kit lens? If it was body only, then that's a pretty good deal. With lens, that's an even better deal.

i've been monitoring prices on this on amazon, and the cheapest ive found is 560 for a refurbished one. i think you got a good deal.
i may have to run up to target tomorrow and look......

None of the Targets around here even carry the XSi. Only the XS...
I wish that deal was going on around me... :(
