I just purchased a used Coralife Hang-On 150W HQI with a new 10K Coralife bulb and am very happy with the light. It sits over my 18 in. deep 25 gallon bowfront. However, I have noticed the last few days a brown gorgonian I have had, and love, is not opening. I have read of others complaining the small glass cylinder on the light does not sufficiently protect against UV rays, is my gorgonian suffering from burn? My levels are all perfect and my purple gorgonian is loving life and polyps are fully extended. Any suggestions are appreciated!
