How to make a stand up pipe?

I need to get/make a 8" stand up pipe. how do you make on or where do you buy one?

Yes, use pvc.

Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware. Any local building supply, plumbing or hardware store should have it. The shortest size you'll find at HD or lowes is probably 5 feet.
