Hi,

I replaced the stock return pump in my 34g Solana Cube with a Tunze 1073.040. It's plumbed with 10' flex tubing to a 1/15hp chiller that's 4' below. Any idea what the approx. gph is after accounting for the head loss?

Looks like the 1/15hp chiller needs 110-160gph to function properly. I believe the Tunze is rated at 792gph.

Thanks,
Stan

p.s. Props to Roger for taking care of my venturi issue on the Tunze 9002. Works like a charm :) 10x better than the stock skimmer.

how does it run? Looking at getting one but need at least 300 gph at 5 ft of head

Thanks, at 4ft of head that pump does about 460 gph, I based that on converting to 1.2m about and that correlates to 1.75m3/hr, so there may be some losses in my conversions which are rough estimates from a table. Keep in mind most chillers add 1-2ft of head pressure on there own.
