I was looking at getting 160lbs of bahama aragonite, but I keep getting conflicting numbers from everyone haha so I am kinda worried that I wont get enough the first time around.

How many pounds do YOU have in your 180? How many inches does it come out to be? got any pics?

How many inches of sand do you want? I am planning on just enough to cover the bottom of the tank.

I've got 80LBS of the Caribsea Specialty Reef Sand. I don't have it in the tank yet, but that should be enough to just cover the bottom of the tank.

i want a good size sandbed, nothing too deep though.. i was thinking maybe 2 inches?

sounds like 160lbs of sand might get me really close to a 2in sandbed
