My girlfriend bought me these fish tonight and I was wondering what you guys think? I know they are wrasses, But I'm not sure on their names so input would be great. I put them in these holding containers for now. I just put a post out today about how many fish can I have and my girlfriend shows up with these.
This one is 3''

1st is either Halichoeres leucurus grey head wrasse, more commonly known as the chainlink wrasse
or Halichoeres vrolikii pinstriped wrasse....
I think its the latter

Thanks everyone. I have found a few on the first one but nothing that matches it close enough to make a for sure ID. The second I found on LiveAquaria and it is called McCosker's Flasher Wrasse, Male. I just let the first one go in the main tank so we will see how it go's with the Mystery Wrasse.

I honestly dont think thats a McCosker's as they are usually more colorfull... I agree with Harbor....its a initial phaze male what ever species it is

It is the closest one to this fish. The anal fin has purple rim with a purple line in the middle of the fin. Only difference is that the anal fin isn't as dark purple as the McCosker's everything else is right on. It's hard to see the purple lines on the body and fins but in person it is alot more noticable. Sorry for the bad pics.
