What would be the best calcium reactor to get for my 60gal reef? Ive been looking at the GEO, and the Life Reef, but would like to hear some of your opinions. Thanks..

You'll find a lot of vendors out there, but GEO by far has some of the best quality, support, and overall generally happy customers in this forum. I have one, and the only thing I'll ever replace it with is another GEO unit.

I have one from MRC - very solidly built, wasn't too expensive.

Super happy with my korallin 1502. Reactors are not rocket science by any means, so the manufacturers pump choice for recirculation should be of very high importance with whatever brand name you choose.

I also have a Korallin, again not rocket science. re-circulation pump is a must with what ever you buy. the only difference in the chamber size is just that - chamber size. bigger = you wont have to replace media as often. how much co2 you use will be determined by your tank. I don't disagree with everyone about the GEO - I have heard they are great. I have the Korallin and with a few simple mods (that are recommended for most) - fantastic unit.

This is an excellent one, quality is tip top notch. I have it. I was in your shoes asking the same questions. I could not pass on this one. What did it for me is that the fella who builds them called me himself. What else can you ask for?

I love my GEO 618.

You can't beat the geos for their construction and ease of use. Plus they have great customer service, although you probably won't ever need it. Not all Ca RX's are built the same, many other units need a second chamber to work well, Geo's don't need this extra step.

That and add in that they are not high priced only makes them better.
