2 options -- lighting need opinions

I will be upgrading my lighting on a 125g 24"x48"x25" mixed reef. More LPS than SPS, but fairly mixed. Currently running 2x250w MH 4x65w pc combo fixture.

Option 1

Lumen Bright reflectors 2x250 20k radiums.


Option 2

Go t-5 something like ATI Powermodule 8x54w

I can also build whatever kind of hood and do a retrofit t-5

Looking for opinions frpm people who have run both t-5 and MH

I just switched from MH to T-5 and like it better.

You can get a better color, IMO.

Less heat is nice too.

There is a huge t-5 thread in the lighting forum. It's worth a read to see what other are using.
